'I am so happy to be working at S17S with Bob. He the most imaginative and skilled artist I know and by far the most interesting and wonderful person I have ever met too; he has taught me so much about art (and life in general!) that I could never have learnt on my own. He is a master of understanding exactly what colours look beautiful next to each other, and working with people's bodies to create designs that flow with the body rather than just sit on it. He has a knack for creating beautifully delicate pieces and adding just the right colours and highlights to create amazing pieces of art. Everything Bob touches is gold, and he creates the most wonderful original paintings as well as tattoos (some adorning the studio walls, both painted on directly and framed). And damn, Bob is by far the best raconteur in the Midlands, and far far beyond. He is one of the best people I know and I am endlessly excited to work alongside him and have his work on my own body too. He's ace.'

 

Bob is an artist with over 20 years' experience in various fields of art and design, including theatre work, set design, painting, costume making, commission work and illustration as well as working as a tattoo artist. With a particular interest in fine-art inspired tattoos, Bob takes time with each client to ensure they get a design that is completely custom and suited to their needs. He truly has a knack for creating skin art that looks like it was painted delicately on with a paintbrush, with vivid colours and details. He has a keen eye for detail and you will leave a sitting with Bob with a tattoo as unique as you are.
